WordPress get_object error on fresh install with plugin

Hey all

Got a fresh install of WordPress, and an existing PHPBB installation on my site.

I have installed the plugin as per instructions, and am getting the following error on the base page of the wordpress installation:

Warning: get_object_vars() expects parameter 1 to be object, null given in /home/nzp8nt/public_html/blog/wp-includes/user.php on line 1404
