  • Hello,
Wordpress Forms uses wp_mail() function to send emails which requires that php.ini as SMTP and smtp_port defined. Maybe your hosting server does not have it.
    To test:

    • please, verify in your wordpress admin general settings email is set
    • Create a new user

If you don’t receive any email from wordpress you definitely have php.ini tags not set. You should ask your hosting provider if you are able to set it or if they can do that for you.

Or if you prefer you can use a plugin to send emails more easily. For instance you can use WP Mail SMTP plugin to set up a SMTP to send your emails.

    hello,

im having the exact same problem as above and i have Godaddy hosting. i checked out the WP Mail SMTP plugin but I don’t want just plain emails to be sent, I really accomplished what I wanted using WordPress Forms. i made a new user and the confirmation email came in just fine. did anybody find a solution?

The solution is there: SMTP Mail.
If you are in Godaddy, maybe you should ask them.
