    HI!
I love wordpress and I think it is the best blogging tool around, but I am also using a cms (mambo) for maintaining my site and I was wondering if there is already a component or a module or a bridge of some sort to incorporate wordpress into mambo.
If not, would anyone be interested in writing a bridge or so?
there is the mambo wrapper so sort of "integrating" it into the site could be done more or less, but I am looking for other/more options.
    anyone has any ideas?
    thanks!

Not so far! There is no mambo-wp integration method, but maybe it can be done yet.

well at xoops I found this module http://www.xoops.org/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=24&lid=737
that shows me that it can somehow be done.
I am a newbie at php and have no clue whatsoever... so maybe someone with a clue could have a look at this and maybe it could in some way be re-written for mambo...
wordpress just rocks and I would really love to be able to integrate it.
    thanks for further help!

    Hello!

I would really like to see this myself. Maybee the "XOOPS" code can be tweaked by an interested developer.

I replaced a Xoops site with WordPress because Xoops is too hard to change and WP does some things better. I tried Mambo for one site but dropped Mambo early in the site development stage. Drupal looks more interesting than either Mambo or Xoops. There are other people interested in making WP Drup.

  11. WordPress can actually be used as a CMS with a bit of tweaking.
