  • Changing the “expires” or “max-age” from 4 hours to (at least) 31 days will move up the score for static caching. It looks like Cloudflare sets that 4-hour thing. You might want to get in touch with them to change it, if that’s possible by them.

    For first byte time, it depends on a lot of factors. One of those is the hosting environment.

    Btw, if your site doesn’t have ‘www’ in front, and if you test the site with ‘www’ in front, it would take an extra request (301 request) for the test to run.

    should i put it at 1 month, 6 months , or a year?

    It doesn’t matter (IMO). Just change it from 4 hours.
