I am using wordpress. I am working on wordpress theme development.My theme has several category post area in index page . I have already set featured image in each post area by deshboard but my featured image is not showing up. pls help solving this problem.

hi, how are you trying to display the featured image?

You can use
```
if ( has_post_thumbnail() ) {
	the_post_thumbnail();
}
the_content();
```
This should help. http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Thumbnails

Your theme is not displaying the featured image. You need to place that code inside of your theme template files.

my site is news site .so it has severel areas in homepage .for this . i can’t put this code on (post-loop.php) i put those code directly (index.php) . and registered already in (function.php).
