   I am getting an error message everytime I try to publish, and I have to go in through "Drafts" to publish a post.

   Anyone know what I can fix this??

   It might be helpful to see the error message.

   Any errors in your web server's error logs that you might share as well?

   Otherwise, a search on "your attempt to edit this post" in these forums will turn up a few other threads. Many seem to revolve around plugins and ensuring they are compatible with your version of WordPress.

   I had the same problem. Try commenting out autosave in wp-admin/post-new.php:

   //wp_enqueue_script('autosave');
