WordPress extremely slow to work with

    WordPress seems to be so slow to write in and edit that I have given up completely. It happened last week as well. What’s the problem? If I give any command – even a keystroke – it takes five to ten seconds to register and many functions just don’t work at all (selecting).

    My post is heavy with content and images – is there a limit to how much content a post can handle?

    What else could we be doing wrong? Or is there a problem with WordPress Servers?

    Are you on wordpress.COM or self-hosted WordPress at your own webhost? If .com, you’re in the wrong place; go here http://en.forums.wordpress.com/

    If you’re self-hosting, first talk to your webhost and check with your ISP.

    For good reason, my co-blogger is the tech – I’m the content guy. I was WRONG – it’s a .com. So thank you – I’ll go there – and sorry to waste your time.
