   How can I change the From line in my wordpress emails, I want it to use something other than "WordPress [wordpress@mydomain.com]

   Maybe; jimjam [wordpress@mydomain.com]

   I found your answer. Use this plugin:

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-from-email/

   I put it on my site, http://www.thomasmckee.com/ and it did the trick.
