   I have written this tutorial whihc allows wordpress users to advertise their blogs on forums in there signatures.

   That's kinda nifty, and I assume can be used for people who are looking to have some info from a blog on a static page, especially on another server.

   yours may provide a tad more info, however youre also not using the built-in db calls that wordpress already makes. Requiring another file with the database info, login, pass etc.. is a tad redundant, and unecessary.

   What do you mean it requires another file with the database info. Its all in one file. Plus mine is alot more useful then theres and displays alot more information. :D
