[resolved] WordPress doesn't suggest tags anymore (in new/edit post) (8 posts)

    Hi,

Since some days, when I create or update a post, when I type words in tags list, I'm not receiving suggestion of tags to my post.

    See the screenshot here

Recently, I used the plugin "WP CleanFix" to clean some conflicts.
Some errors like "Post Meta Edit Lock" have been fixed. Does anyone know if this was causing the malfunction ?

If not, who can tell me how to fix this ?

    Thanks for your support

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    --> Didn't work

Also, I restored a database backup from the 5 June (the date I installed the plugin "WP CleanFix"), it's still the same, wordpress doesn't suggest tags to me.

Fair comment - except that we can't always assume that. :-)

Can we see the site using Twenty Eleven with all plugins deactivated using the Phpmyadmin method.

    I found the issue !
It comes from the Google Chrome browser !!!

    There was a pending update...
For information, now I have the latest release : 19.0.1084.56 m

And I still have the issue with Chrome.
But as the issue comes from the browser, it's not a file issue on my FTP or database issue.

    Thanks Esmi
