    Hi there,
I'm new to wordpress. But managed to install wordpress on windows with IIS 5.1 webserver. PHP and Mysql are installed and work fine.
When I log into wordpress I get the welcome screen you get after a new install with all the basic stuff. Now my problem is that I cannot seem to get to view the site. From the menu I get the home link and the 'visit site' link but when I click on that the default IIS screen localstart.asp is being called.
This has to do with the fact that in the general settings window the site URL is set to localhost. What should I point it to if no webpage is being created by wordpress ? It seems I mis the step of creating a website. How do I do that?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ian.

    Thanks,
It seems index.php was missing from the URL http://localhost in the general settings tab
