   When you edit a page in WordPress, under the textarea where you type the content, there should be tabs--Custom Fields, Discussion, Comments, Author, and Revisions. There is none of those! I need them because I want to not allow any comments. So is there any way I could get these tabs to appear, or hide the comments option?

   Have they been switched off? In the top right is a tab labelled 'Screen Options' where you can toggle on and off the various meta boxes.
