• Hello,

I’m getting the flollwing error when posting anything on my blog. The posting actually does show and “post”. But why the error message?

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1]
    SELECT * FROM wp3_post2cat WHERE post_id =

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /srv/www/htdocs/wp3/wp-includes/wp-db.php:102) in /srv/www/htdocs/wp3/wp-admin/post.php on line 59

    Any help is appreciated.

    Greg

  • Hi, I have a very similar error. Unfortunately no one has been able to help me yet – I have even created a new DB and still have the problem.

    This worked for me:

    MattRead:

“Try removing rpc.pingomatic.com/ from the “Update Services” list in Options > Writing.”

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don’t have any update services listed there. I removed them all.

I had the same exact error messages and it worked,
how about you try #1 and #2.

    3 things:

    1. Ensure that you have run /wp-admin/upgrade.php.

    2. Check that the “WordPress address (URI)” and “Blog address (URI)” is correct in Options > General (no trailing slash).

    3. Try removing rpc.pingomatic.com/ from the “Update Services” list in Options > Writing.
