WAMP5 is an outdated version of Wamp Server 2. Why don't you try that instead? Make sure that WAMP5 is uninstalled prior to the latest Wamp Server installation.

    Try checking this:

    open my.ini and find
    default-storage-engine=INNODB
    Change to:
    default-storage-engine=MyISAM

I'm using XAMPP, you might want to try that. With this I never had any problems at all.
