• We host approximately 500+ blogs on our servers and this evening, our servers experienced this error on ALL blogs running WordPress 2.0 – – not just one or two blogs, but all of them running the new version. On quick check – all other blogs running earlier versions did not have this issue at all, and were running fine – – so it is isolated to 2.0 users.

A quick repair of all 2.0 database tables server-wide resolved the immediate issue and the 2.0 blogs were, once again, running smoothly.

We’ve been hosting WordPress blogs for the past 2 years and never ran into this issue with any of the earlier versions of WP.

We’re just began researching this issue to make sure our client blogs aren’t interrupted by this issue again – as it just occurred on our servers approximately 10-20 minutes ago. So far, what I’ve read is that this occurs intermittently on 2.0 blogs – even after the repair of the db tables.

Any feedback would be most helpful.

    Thank you!

  • No space left on device? MySQL_Error_28

    (edit)

More disk space used in 2.0 could be result of the wp-content/cache folder…

Thank you, Michael. I didn’t run across that link – though I’ve run across every other link out there 🙂

Our tmp folder was at 78% usage. We’ve adjusted, and hopefully will not see this issue in the future.

    Keeping fingers crossed!

This error has just popped up on my wordpress 1.51 installation and I repaired all the tables. But no joy.

I have mailed a request to support at my host, because I don’t know what to do next
