WordPress database error: [Got error 12 from storage engine]

I just got this resolved for myself, but haven’t seen the specific error _12_ before and also haven’t seen any real resolution to any of these elsewhere.

Basically my resolution is that my database server (only) was down. (They’re now separate) and it started after I tried to connect to it (saving a draft), so I THINK if you KNOW it’s down, don’t change anything on your blog (because for me, this started appearing publicly as well).

If you CAN reboot your server or DB server, do that, and note; it took me 2 reboots to get it back up. *shrug*
