• Right now I use Prestashop I am on a shared host, I have all my caching and memcached stuff set up but I’m killing the database with queries, I’m talking over 2 million of them in a day. I have most of the modules turned off, I have under 5000 item, and really only about 2000 are active. I believe it just crummy coding of that software and with no forum responsesp on how to figure out what the problem is I’m thinking wordpress. I’ve always used wordpress for my blogs, I have a wordpress blog already for my store, it’s hosted at bluehost and has cloudcache and a couple other caching plugins already setup.

What are your experinces with the different wordpress commerce plugings? I need to connect my store with my ebay account and will I still kill the database, or is it really the bad prestashop code as I believe?

Plus I have to figure how to move the info from prestashop to wordpress, manually will not happen, it would take to long. I’m thinking either move my active ebay stuff into the store and then add new items to the store and then send to ebay.

I’m looking for advice and experinces of other users who may have done the same thing.
