   I am new to this whole website thing so forgive my newbie question.

   Is it possible to integrate Buddy Press + BBpress all into WordPress/Wordpress MU?

   Reason I'm asking is that I notice WordPress themes are much more developed than Buddy Press (would like to go with WP theme), but Buddy Press offers me some key features that I am looking for in my site.

   Any successful sites out there that have all 3 of these combined on a site?

   Yes, integration is possible with WP Multisite and BuddyPress with internal bbPress forum install. It's been done for years.

   It would seem that Buddy Press is quite limited in theme selection. The Premium WordPress themes look much much nicer to work with.

   If you're handy with HTML, CSS and PHP, you could create your own BuddyPress bp-default child theme - http://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/building-a-buddypress-child-theme/

   Or, use a WP Theme and install the BP Template Pack to make it compatible with BuddyPress social networking components.
