   I received a message today congratulating me on my "new" WordPress blog. When I go to my blog address or my admin page, I receive the Name Your New Blog / install WordPress page. My server folders seem to have all of the necessary folders and files.

   What happened and what do I do now? If I go through with the re-install, will WordPress initiate a new SQL database, or will I still have my old posts?

   I just experienced the same issue. Have you found a resolution yet?

   Found the solution by Google search "is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

   Login to your cPanel
   Go to the MySQL section
   Select your database, and click the REPAIR icon

   Yay!
