   For some reason WPAU will not detect 2.7.1 as a new version, it keeps saying my current installation is up to date. But I have the banner at the top of the dashboard telling me to upgrade. When I try to run the built-in upgrade tool and choose to upgrade automatically it just sits and apparently gets stuck on the step 'Unpacking the core update'.

   Any help would be greatly appreciated!

   Yes, please do tell what was causing the problem and how you were able to fix it.
