I'm trying to set up wordpress as a cms for a new business, and I'm having problems with the static home page.

    The site is: http://www.receptivesolutions.com

I want to delete the "Home" page title that shows up in the body of the home page, and also the "posted in" that shows my name and date. I basically just don't want it to be so "bloggy".

Any advice or links to articles/tutorials would be MUCH appreciated.

    Thanks!

Your request is a super-common request for people who don't want their theme to be a blog theme.

What theme are you using? Twenty Ten?

Ah, I see it's Carrington. You'll best to ask for their support. Their theme is a platform in and of itself.

    Thanks Mike!
