I was gearing-up for the Strayhorn upgrade when I thought I should check this here with you folks. My blog is on a subdomain: http://chetan.ckunte.com/. WordPress is at present sitting in the root of this subdomain.

Could I attempt to install WordPress in http://ckunte.com/, have the blog in the subdomain/folder like: http://chetan.ckunte.com and maintain static pages (using pages) in the rest of the site and the main root page. I'm asking this since I noticed that the SQL backup has URIs hardcoded.

If this is possible, I could right-away start using WordPress as a CMS for the entire site.

macmanx, I thought the tutorial was for pre 1.5 and pre "pages" feature. Most of my non-blog sections would be static. Ideas?
