Please note that if you installing LimeSurvey in the same root domain as WordPress the .htaccess file for WordPress might clash with LimeSurvey.
This leads to 404 errors when trying to run the LimeSurvey installation.
Two possible solutions:
* Either install LimeSurvey in a subdomain
or
* Edit WordPress .htaccess file in your root folder to ignore the LimeSurvey subdirectoy. Look here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2322559/htaccess-wordpress-exclude-folder-from-rewriterule
