    Hello everyone,

    What I have:
    - a WordPress.com account
    - a Domain (squaredhead.com / blog)
    - a Host (Bluehost)
    - a WordPress Application for my Android Phone

What I would like to do:
    - post something on squaredhead.com via wordpress

    Question:
I don´t see any connection between my Domain and my wordpress account. All I did for now, was to install the latest WordPress on Bluehost.
When I make changes for e.g. add a new post via my WordPress App, it is beeing displayed on squaredhead.wordpress.com, but not on my domain squaredhead.com. How do I set it up right?

    Greatings from Germany!

Jan (look how stupid I am...)

I don´t see any connection between my Domain and my wordpress account.

That is because there is no connection - the two are mutually exclusive. You need one OR the other, but not both.

    If you have a WordPress.com account, you don't need a self-hosted blog.

If you have a self-hosted blog, you no longer need a WordPress.com blog.

If you want to get rid of your WordPress.com blog, you could import your posts from there into your self-hosted Bluehost blog, and then you would log into your Bluehost site in order to make posts, and shut down your WordPress.com blog (or set up a redirect).

Let me know if this makes sense.

The best way to overcome this problem, is to import your wordpress.com blog to self-hosted wordpress blog and after it you can easily post from your android phone to self-hosted blog.

It should be fairly easy to get your site migrated to your host. You will need to have WordPress installed, and then import your content from your wordpress.com account.

See both the articles in the following post for assistance with that: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/no-clue-what-to-do?replies=3

If your DNS hasn't been pointed to BlueHost yet, you will need to do that too. BlueHost should be able to help with that and answer any questions you may have in those regards.
