WordPress and Affiliates who use WordPress Logins

Hello,

I found my first introduction to WordPress when I watched a 2.5 hour youtube.com video created by wpscultpor in in its entirety with total awe and amazement regarding the WordPress community and have found the software, support, information, plugins and all things WordPress (.org or .com) to be amazingly abundant, great things are happening here.

Though I have prior IT experience, I have only been working with WordPress for about a week. No idea this was available for a guy on a shoestring budget and the possibilities of getting my ideas to the masses were no longer a dream but, a reality.

If you can detect a degree of excitement in my comments you would be correct. My thanks go to WordPress and all the contributors who have made this possible again, exciting stuff!

With all the exploration, examination, installs, Uninstalls, deletes, reinstalls and joys of finding the right tools for my website I have experienced one reoccurring anomaly… Logging into the WordPress website is generally ok (.org or .com) however, when creating accounts on other websites that allow WordPress credentials to be used for logging into an their website can be and is at times cumbersome because when you use WordPress login information… an error message will be generated saying that user already exists and your password/username or username/password or one or the other or both fail to log in and if you create a new account then, you get a confirmation e-mail saying you have created a new account on WordPress which isn’t what I intended to do.

So my question to you fine folks is, what is going on with the logins respectfully to WordPress and affiliates?

Really would like to focus more on website development and implementation than username and password management. Which brings me to my final question;

With all the plugins used for allowing the general public to login using Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, and the like with their respective account credentials. Are my visitors going to experience the same issues with my site?
