    Hello there!

Unfortunately having trouble accessing the admin panel for

    http://marikittredgevideo.com

I’m currently hosting through Dreamhost, where I have installed the most recent wordpress update (over 24hrs ago.) I have been unable to access my admin panel for wordpress via:

    http://marikittredgevideo.com/wp-admin.php

While waiting for tech support, I ended up accessing the ftp server through transmit in order to manually install the wordpress theme: Essenza directly into

    marikittredgevideo.com>wp-content>themes

It’s my first time using “Dream Host,” so I’m uncertain if I may have to do some sort of activation for the wordpress itself that I’m unaware of.

No There Is No Activation Kind Of Thing. I See That Your Site Is Not Available. You Can Re-Install WordPress And Then Login To Your Site. i Think That You Were Not Able To Access The Admin Panel Because Of Incomplete Installation Or Database Error. So, If It Is Installed. Delete It And Re-install. Your Site Would Work Perfectly Then. Still If You Have Error Continue With This Thread. I Will Help You. 🙂

I’ve been having the same problem with my site, and I have it hosted on Go Daddy. Did this start fairly recently?

Hey man! I got it worked out. You need to contact your domain host and request to have them switch the name servers to the following:

    ns1.Your host.com
    ns2.Your host.com
    ns3.Your host.com

Make sure you have the domain name, 4 digit pin to the account, and/or last 8 digits of the card charged. I was spinning my wheels for hours searching for a solution, and the server name completely slipped my mind.

@jeff. Did You Install A Plugin Or Theme Recently Or Did You Tweak Any Code On WordPress. Sometimes plugins which donot support the system or theme ruin the installation. Take care. reply for more info

    Hi Arsalan,

    No, there’s no new plugins.

my site is http://www.jeffsbesthemp.com/wordpress/wp-admin but I have three others on the same host and they’re all having trouble.

We examined it from the hosting side and according to the everything is ok.

If I try to login via wifi on my ipad, everything runs smoothe as silk. If I try to login by my desktop, I get nothing but hassles. It wasn’t like this until about 2 weeks ago and we’ve changed nothing. 🙁

    Hey Jeff!

    Hi!

Yeah, it got going a bit, and I think the problem is that my memory is very very low on my primary hard drive, that’s what we figured is causing the desktop specific stalls. It’s a bit embarrassing but at least we figured out the problem.

Thanks, yes we’re currently shopping for a much more streamlined ecommerce theme but I haven’t found any I’m happy with. Bazzar theme wouldn’t install, and I haven’t found one that suits my liking. I’m trying to find one that’s just nice squares, and a minimalist structure, that allows for a blog roll post to drive traffic.

    Hi,

If you have Dream host basic shared hosting package from Dreamhost you might face such issue. If you host high traffic site and host more than one such site would lead such issue. I have same issue one one my technology blog, but it got resolved after increase bandwidth limits on my hosting plan.

hi, you should be able to click the forgot password feature and have a temp one mailed to you.
