I am having a bizarre problem with WordPress 1.5.

The WordPress address (URI) option in the Options menu has a current value for my website, which is currently something akin to:

    http://www.mysite.com/blah/wordpress

The strange thing is that almost every 24 hours, the option value is automatically changed to:

    http://192.168.1.103/blah/wordpress

The local IP address replaces the DNS version of the web address.

This problem is driving me crazy. I recently upgraded to PHP 5.0.3 and have switched to the php-cgi.exe variable because I was having trouble with the php5isapi.dll file. The server is a Win2003 Small Business Server running IIS6.

Can anyone help or give me some ideas about where to start debugging?

This is a bump if anyone missed this post. I don’t think the problem has anything to do with PHP or IIS anymore. I’m thinking more along the vein of wp-login.php and how the administration interface is accessed…. headers or somesuch.

Ideas? This has been driving me nuts.

[I have since rolled back to PHP4, also]
