   I'm not sure how to get the current version number but it's not 3.1.

   I'm doing some work on a gentleman's WP. I've added some plugins but not sure what I added most recently or what settings I might have changed to cause the following problems:

   I was logged in doing some on-page SEO and went to preview a page. Everything on the site is now getting this error:

   Forbidden

   You don't have permission to access / on this server.
   Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

   I don't have any server side access but I'm also not convinced the problem is server side.

   Is it possible that some plugin or a setting on a plugin is giving me this error?

   Try:
   - switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. You may need to try logging into your site to get this to kick in fully.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

   I upgraded to 3.1 which fixed most of the problem. I don't currently have ftp access (client site) but am working to get it.

   I spun off the remaining problem into a separate post, since I'm not sure it's related.
