WordPress 3.9 has built in drop-down menu? (3 posts)

I am re-designing my old theme and noticed that drop down menu works despite fact that I haven't moved the drop-down menu specific code yet.
I was wandering is there a built in drop-down feature in new wordpress 3.9 or what.

I am using Underscore _s framework by Autommatic. I looked in the original CSS and there doesn't seem to be any CSS code that would perform for drop-down action like (hiding ul and showing on mouse over etc.) Also checked js files and only code for menus are there for when the site becomes responsive to hide and show. I am kinda lost.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Nope. This is strictly controlled by your theme - not WP core.

Pretty sure that theme has dropdowns already built into it. Cool, yes? :-)

Yes after hordes of bare-bone themes I settled on underscore _s.
My fav. Nested template part reducing unneeded requests.

I am going to look more deeply because I don't see any part of code that does show / hide on dropdown ULs.
