    Hi folks,
    I have just downloaded wordpress 3.5 and maybe I am blind or something but cannot find how to edit standard post type. I can see content-aside.php, content-image.php etc but where the standart is?
    Please help:)

    xx

  • Thats’s your theme, not wp itself. What theme is it?

    Hi Deepbevel!

    I just try to modify twentytwelve to see what’s new there.

    Sorry, found it. Thanks Deepbevel for your interest.

    I just enabled 2012 for the first time, it shows “standard” as a post format option.

    well that was easy.

    Hi, there is an option while adding post. But I could not find where to edit template for standard post. For other post types there are templates, for example content-aside.php. The standard one it is possible to edit in content.php
    Anyway, this new twentytwelve is really nice.

    in single.php

    <?php get_template_part( 'content', get_post_format() ); ?>

    So you might try editing content.php.
