    Hi, FeedWordPress (stable 2011.1019 and trunk 2012.0810) not work with WordPress 3.5 Beta 3.

    1 - Lost Feed Summary
    2 - Syndicated Feeds was not updated
    3 - Browsing and edit stored Feeds return this message: Cheatin’ uh?

    New SimplePie 1.3.1 problem ?!?

    WordPress 3.5 Beta 3, we’ve also updated to jQuery UI 1.9.1, SimplePie 1.3.1, and TinyMCE 3.5.7.

    Solutions?

    Hey, RadGeek :) what we are waiting before making FeedWordPress compatible with WordPress 3.5, instead of releasing minor correction of equipment such as 2012.1128?

    Well, there are a variety of reasons why a new release has been slow in coming, but in any case, there is a fix out today which should help with at least some of the compatibility issues you're reporting -- v. 2012.1212. Take a look:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedwordpress/

    Let me know if this solves the problems you've been encountering, or if there are other issues that remain to be resolved.

    Thanks,

    @Old Cow:

    Thats not the problem with FWP plugin. It should be the theme that not updated to WP 3.5

    I have the same issue and when I changed the theme to default 2012, visual editor started to work again.

    @Purusothaman

    I installed FWP on two sites with different themes. The visual editor works on both sites with regular posts and pages, but not on FWP feed-posts. For testing purposes I installed the default theme 2012. Same thing.

    I updated to WordPress 3.5 today and immediately got a compatibility problem with FeedWordPress 2012.1212 - with the plugin activated I am unable to switch between the "Visual" and "Text" post editing windows.

    These two buttons just don't show up and the editing window shows only text and code.

    Hopefully there is a solution to this problem because FeedWordPress is an outstanding plugin.

    Hi all, we are experiencing issues with the excerpt. Our XML file has a description tag for CDATA. That data for the post is being duplicated in the excerpt. So all articles are pushing out full article text when the the_excerpt() is used. We are using the previous version of FWP. This was not the case with WP 3.4.x

    @all

    Hey Boys:

    On WordPress 3.5 (clean and upgraded install)

    1 - FeedWordPress not work!
    2 - Impossible configure it!
    3 - Graphics interface totally wrong!
    4 - Visual/Text edit problem! (the default theme is not the problem and or solution for this issue)

    On WordPress 3.4.x

    1 - Graphical GO button on feed disappear!

    On both WordPress 3.4x and 3.5

    1 - Optimize IN clauses not work on WordPress 3.4.2 and 3.5

    Correction to the post I made above. We were using the newest version 2012.1212 when we had the excerpt issue in WP 3.5.

    Sorry guys for the wrong information. I tried disabling the FWP plugin and suddenly the visual editor started to work. So it means the FWP plugin is the one causing the problem.

    @Old Cow, @kbunt, and @Purusothaman,

    Thanks for posting about this. The behavior is actually deliberate -- it's kind of a crappy attempt to deal with a crappy situation caused by the interaction between the Visual Editor's assumption that all posts edited in it will be run through WP formatting filters, and FeedWordPress's assumption that syndicated posts arrive in ready-to-display full HTML, without needing to go through formatting filters. I received enough bug reports resulting from this bad interaction that I decided to cut off the Visual Editor for posts syndicated through FWP. (If your Visual Editor is disabled also for posts you create locally -- e.g. by using Post --> Add New -- let me know ASAP; that'd be a bug.) Anyway, the reasons for this, a quick workaround fix for those who need it, and an upcoming solution, are all discussed in this thread here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/feedwordpress-and-wysiwyg

    HTH,
