    Thanks Chrisgra2.

    I too suspected the issue of not being able to see or edit pages/posts
    was somehow related to the editing functions. I saw a new 'add media'
    button.

    Well I have disabled the CKEditor plugin, and I can at least edit post and pages again.

    I don't see the CKEditor plugin so I can't disable it. Nothing works on the New Post page

    I had installed (and then removed) BPS Security some time ago, which had obviously left remnants across my folders. I've now reinstalled and updated BPS to the latest version and upgraded to WordPress 3.5 - all now AOK :)

    Adding define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true); to the bottom of the wp-config file did the trick for me too. No other enhancements needed. Thanks for posting.

    See http://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-35-master-list

    it not supporting any external premuim plugins and themes

    It's up to the individual theme & plugin developers to check that their products are compatible with WP 3.5 - not the other way around. They've had months of beta testing to work out any bugs in their themes/plugins.

    I added define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true); and it made things worse. Are some folks applying this for a certain plugin or for helping with 3.5 issues.

    I'm going to have to revert back to 3.4

    Please add

    define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);
    in wp-config.php file. I have solved my problem by this.
