WordPress 3.01 Error – Cant post new items and Ajax is off

    Hi Guys

    I am having a horrible 2 weeks and i just dont know what to do.I have been using wordpress for a personal club site for well over 2 years and kinda know the ins and outs but now i have hit a solid wall.

    Since my update to wordpress 3.01 i get errors in my backend.

    When i log in to wp-admin. I can access all the menu items except when i try to post a new post. When i click on it, i get a blank screen!!! Cant do anything about it.

    I have also noticed that when i update a PAGE, my tinymce is off and i cant see any buttons. Everything shifts to html coding.

    I am not sure what to do. I have done it all:
    1. re-install wordpress.
    2. deactivate plugins
    3. take SEF ULS off
    4. Change theme

    But nothing works. i have even re-uploaded wp-admin and wp-includes via ftp as suggested on other forums.

    None of this works and stuck.

    Any suggestions, i would hate to loose my site and all the heart and effort my members put into this blog. Ajax justseems to be deactivated too!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?

    Thank you for your reply. I have tried all of the above steps but still no luck. Any other suggestion?

    I really cant loose this site, way too valuable in terms of comments, members, articles 🙁
