   Hello!

   I was just curious if I installed the RC3 version, will I later be able to update to the Final Release version within WordPress Update Option, or will I have to manually do the update exporting databases and such?

   Certainly, you will be able to update to Final Release with WP update option. As for database backups, it is a recommended regular procedure whether you upgrade to latest version or not since all your posts/pages are entered there.

   I am just starting to set up my site. I currently have 2.9.2 installed. Do I need to back up any of the work I have done so far. Not a lot has been done so far thus I am considering the new version 3.0 before I GO to far.
   I have been using Dreamweaver until my son introduced me to WordPress.
   What a piece of cake platform.

   You never know what will happen, so you should always backup your files and your database regularly (try weekly, or monthly if you don't use your blog too often).
