   Hey guys, when I go in to the appearance - menu options and try to create a drop down menu, which requires you to click hold and drag a menu to the right of the one above it, so when I do that I have posted a picture of what exactly happens:

   It adds all these blank empty boxes, the longer I hold it they just keep getting more and more.

   Also when I add a new menu it automatically renames it as ' { '. I cannot figure out why this is happening it pretty much started happening randomly one day.

   If someone can help me out I will really appreciate it!

   i have the same problem. The first time i reinstalled wordpress and it was ok, i created a custom menu. A few weeks passed, and i wanted to add an entry today but the problem is back. Someone has the same problem ?

   Looks like your theme does not support custom menu as I see on top left hand corner.

   What are you using as you will need make some changes in files to make it support custom menus.

   Did you update your theme if so that is why you lost the change.

   Its best create a child theme and make the change in child theme.
