   After upgrading from 2.7.1 to 2.8, all the texts with accents and other special characters are not showing correctly.

   Any idea of what could happened and how to fix it?

   I've used Fantastico Deluxe to update WordPress from cPanel.

   After the update to 2.8, the DB format is the following:

   The "wp_terms" table is set to "utf8_unicode_ci", but the category titles are not showing correctly.

   On the other hand, the "wp_posts" table is set to "latin1_swedish_ci", but the posts are not showing correctly either :(

   Any ideas?

   I don't really know what to do because the "wp_terms" table is already in utf8 but the data in that table is not showing correctly
