WordPress 2.7 RC1 - HTTP Error when uploading Media Files (4 posts)

    Hi,

I get an error "HTTP Error" when I try to upload a file to the media library, the upload progress bar completes then it says "Crunching" followed by the HTTP error.

I have checked the permissions and all okay.

I am having other issues 500 Internal Server errors when updating posts.

Could all this be related to security .htaccess or something.

Can anyone help with this issue?

    Thanks

I was having this same problem for ages! I read that Flash Player 10 isn't compatible with WP, so I disabled my Flash Player in my web browser window. Tools, Add-Ons, then Flash should be listed under your Plugins. Of course, once I do that, I can't view videos or some websites normally, but it can easily be re-enabled. Disabling this does allow my photos to upload normally into my Media Library or into Posts.
