I am having a problem with the new admin problem.......
This problem happens on every page within admin
For example if I click dashboard it comes up just fine BUT what displays is the menu on the left and the whole top half of the page is blank. I have to scroll half way down to see the dashboard. Is something supposed to be displaying in this huge, empty, white space at the top?
Thanks
Bruce

Fixed the problem. The left column was too wide. I didn't know you could resize it. Resizing it allowed everything to move to the top and display properly.

are you using ie ? Use firefox
The IE bugs should be worked out by release time.

Firefox. 3.0.4
I have found I am unable to now resize the left column out lie it was before. Once sized down.......there it stays. Trying to drag it to make it larger does not work
What plugins are you using. Any that were modifying the what 2.6 admin looked still activated.

Nothing that modifies the admin page.
Using Intense Debate for comments but I don't think it changes the admin page.
It looks ok now.......just can't resize the left column out. It stays in a small icon form. Hovering over the icon gives the links for that icon
I really like how the new Admin page looks.
I don't see the error on my dashboard with FF 3.0.4, you might try clearing all your cache and logging back in.

I got it now. You don't drag it......you click on it and it expands. Duh. Click on it and it unexpands.
Same behavior for me (i.e., the 1/2 screen of whitespace that comes & goes as "tied to" the left-hand dashboard/column), in FF (3.0.4 Win & Mac) and Safari (3.2.1 Mac).
I must admit that I didn't see the expand/contract handle at first either. Now that I know about it, I can live with the odd whitespace behavior a little easier...
