• Hi All:

I just did an automatic upgrade to Version 2.6 from Version 2.0.2 so I am not exactly familiar with everything in Version 2.6 yet. I have been playing and have found most of what I was looking for.

    QUESTION:

    Can someone please tell me…

How does one *change the time* of an entry/old entry? I can’t seem to find that feature in 2.6

Perhaps I am having a senior moment here!

    Thanks in advance.

The time factor is located on right sidebar under the “Save” and “Publish” buttons. Click on icon and click on your choice of publication date.

    Dear Mercime:

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I am very grateful. This will be very helpful information.

That blog finally got squared away and now I have new problems. I am using hte WordPress Automatic Upgrader which I used before successfully – except for the empty categories problem — which from what I understand is not related to the plugin.

This time the plugin failed or reported a failure. I am awaiting help from Keith, it’s creator. I am/was attempting to upgrade WP.0 to WP2.6 with the plugin.

    Thanks again.

    Roz

WordPress Automatic Upgrader worked well on some sites and failed on other sites using the SAME webhost. Solution for sites where WAU failed, manual upload via FTP of the WordPress software following the extended instruction on upgrading WordPress in Codex.
    Good luck.
