   Its happen after I upgrade my WordPress to version 2.2. The sidebar moved down when the comment status is open. If I close the comment, the sidebar will be placed correctly at the left.

   I have checked the comments.php so many times but didn't see anything wrong. Maybe I missed something. Can you help me? Thanks!

   I don't see any difference: both versions have no sidebar...

   huh? check again.

   btw i tested the site by using the default theme and the result is still the same. the site break after the comments section.

   I see you changed your theme in the meantime?
   (when I checked first I saw the default theme)

   but i don't know man...have you tried decreasing the width of your main block?

   i did not change anything. before i upgrade, everything is fine. i reply my reader's commments as usual and the sidebar is still at the left.

   but after i upgrade my wordpress, the sidebar moved down under the comment.

   That happens when there's something too big in the sidebar, usually the result of a latest comments plugin, when somebody posts a link. Nothing to do with 2.2 from what I can tell...

   the cause of the problem found. it was because of the comment quicktags plugin. after i deactivated the plugin, the site has back to normal. it seem like the plugin is not compatible with wp2.2.
