WordPress 2.0 won’t keep me logged in

First off, I’ve cleared my cache and cookies and all the other stuff. I upgraded my blog to wordpress 2.0, and prior to upgrading, it would always keep me logged in, which was pretty convenient. Now, everytime I go to my blog, it wants me to login. Is there any solution to this? I tried replacing the wp-login.php with the 1.5 version, and it does the job, but it still shows “register” and “login” on the main page instead of “site admin” and “logout”
