I downloaded word press version 3.1.3 and I followed the five-minute-word press set up, unfortunately I am not getting my word press set up in five minutes as shown in the word press video.
The file named wp-content-sample.php I renamed it as to the instructions in the video, but I proceeded to open the file and there is nothing in there. There isn't even a down arrow on the side to let me know how far down the page I am. Is that an empty file. The information is different to the contents in version 3.1.3. Anyone else using that version and what did you get in the wp-content-sample folder?

Where did you see the video all you need to do is upload wordpress on server create a database and run install program

I got to thinking the information in the video could be outdated here is its link.

Yes that is old video and old version of wordpress now with the latest wordpress all you need to do is
1 download and upload wordpress
2 create a database and keep a note of info
3 Run install program and follow the steps let the program create a wp-config.php file.
