I want to create a child file for my theme. To access the files of your theme, you need to be connected to your FTP (I'm assuming this is Filezilla). Once I am connected, how do I go about finding my directory of files so that I can add a new one?
Please help -- I don't even know if this question makes sense:)

In your wordpress directory, you'll find a directory called wp-content; in that, you'll find one named "themes" and in that you will find all of your theme directories, including the one you want work with. If none of this makes sense, see http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Using
