   I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this issue. When people find my site on the search engines, it goes to this page,
   http://www.lasventions.com/index.php, which is just a bunch of generic offers that people really are not that interested in.

   Ideally, I would like visitors to see this page first, http://www.lasventions.com/specials/las-vegas-deals/. Is there a way to change the homepage setting to point to this page?

   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   You could re-create that post as a Page and then switch to using a static home page.
