Could you please temporarily enable WP_DEBUG and see if any errors show up? No counting for any post is correct?
All posts have the same problem in word counting. The plugin counts only about 5-10 words for every post.
I dont know what is wp_debug. Sorry but i dont know very much about programming.
The only change that happened is the plugin now uses a native PHP function to count words.
Sorry man, my fault I didn’t link to you about WP_DEBUG: http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
I think i will stay in 2.26 version at this time, because this is too complicated for me. I only know how to install and unistall plugins so this is very risky for me 🙂
Thank you for your support.
Ok, last thing: can you post a screenshot of your settings (in particular the Counting settings)?
I don’t know. I’ve just tried your exact same setup, and it works for me. If you want to set me up a temporary admin account I can try to look at the problem directly on your site.
Sorry I cant do that. Too risky 🙂
Thank you for you help and your support. I will continue with 2.26 for now. It works fine for me.
I just discovered PHP has a bug in counting words back from 2012 that prevents it from handling non-latin characters. I just pushed version 2.29 which restores the old, working-for-all, counting method. Feel free to update now, and it should keep working 🙂
Yes. I updated and working fine. Thank you for your support!!!
