   This "bug" happens mainly when editing a previous post, but also occurs when writing a new one.

   The post word counter will say something like "197 words", but fails to update in real-time when edits are made. It only updates once the "update" button is pressed.

   Is there any fix or way to get this working again?

   Do you have other plugins that use Javascript, jQuery, Ajax etc that may be conflicting?

   Try disabling them all if so, then activate one at a time to determine what one is causing it. Can often take a while.
