I am really hoping someone can help me...

I am using woocommerce with wootique theme.

I have products with various product categories, and I added the
"WooCommerce Product Categories" widget to the right sidebar. (The site is in spanish, and the widget is titled "Guia de Productos").

The problem is that for some reason the links are not generating correctly in the widget.

If you select a product category from the dropdown menu (TIENDA Online > Paseo) it takes you to the correct place: FOR EXAMPLE:
    http://ocolodalua.com/categor%C3%ADa-producto/paseo/

However, if you use the dropdownmenu on the right, to go the same category, it directs you to:
    http://ocolodalua.com/categora-producto/paseo/

Notice that what should be "categoría-producto" changes to "categora-producto".

And I have no idea why or where that can be fixed!

    THANK YOU! :)

I just tried setting up the widget WITHOUT the dropdown function (ie, full lenght list), and the links are correct!! Why would this happen?
    Any ideas?

Well, nobody helped... but I figured it out!!!

It was an issue with the woocommerce .mo language file, and the accented "í" not being recognized...

What I did was edit the following file:

    .../plugins/woocommerce/languages/woocommerce-es_ES.po

I changed the translation of "product-category" to "categor%C3%ADa-producto", that way the "í" is now recognized and not changed or removed. The links now work.

    phew.
