I have really started to dislike WooThemes more than I can even begin to describe here. They give out free themes but if you do one little thing wrong then you mess up the whole theme and in order to get support from them... Guess What?? You have to pay! That is extremely stupid! So anyone thinking of getting one of their themes... think twice... to them it is all about the money and not about the customer!

So you want a free theme and free support? How do you think theme developers manage to earn any sort of living?

...actually it is not about theme developers making a living. When you offer something for free, support it properly! That is my beef that I have with the whole thing. I really dislike the bait and switch tactic, wherever it may be applied. If you are not prepared to support your stuff, don't give it away for free... simple as that. Understand the difference?

No - I don't. Just because a developer gives something away for free, it does not mean that s/he has to support it for free as well. After all, you can always switch themes without spending a penny, so it's not like you're being forced to pay anything.

...now you see this kind of self-righteous arrogance, is exactly the kind of attitude that makes me say to myself (and my friends)...avoid this company like the plague! Sure they have some nice themes, but the attitude sucks and in the end it is about how you make your customer feel that will keep them coming back to you again and again.

If you are representative of what WooThemes attitude is toward their (potential) customers then I have to say, they really don't give a damn about you the customer, as long as they get your money, that is all they seem interested in. Bah-humbug for customer service! I was budgeting to buy two themes from them, but you know what... after this, I have definitely changed my mind. So I really have to thank you for opening my eyes.
