WooCommerce variation dropdown names not showing (2 posts)

    Hey All,

I am using the free Virtue Theme with the WooCommerce (2.0.18) toolkit to set up an e-commerce store. Bear with me as I know this is a common thread but I can't see this issue anywhere else and I have tried! I am trying to add a colour variation to each product. I have religiously followed the process from many different forums and guides etc. After adding the attributes and checking all relevant boxes, I create all variations with individual prices, and AND upload a different picture of each different colour for each variation.

The problem - The colour drop-down DOES appear on the front end product page. When clicked, it DOES display all the different colour variations. The problem is that when you select a colour, the name does not change from the default colour, even though the image does. For instance, if the default colour is 'black,' the product image (a scalf) is black. Then if you select the colour 'red,' the red image of the product displays but the name still says black. This is very confusing for the customer. Many thanks for taking the time to read this.
