    Hello,

I have a new blog, The Thorough Homeowner, that’s through a wordpress.com theme, it doesn’t have it’s own domain yet. I would like to be able to sell my pdf I am releasing, but I’m unsure how to go about it since my wordpress ‘blog’ is just a starter theme right now and I am unable to install the plugins I normally use.

I would like to be able to use e-commerce solution to ‘house’ my pdf and then payment can be made through Paypal, then a email with the download link will be sent. I thought I could use Woocommerce, but I can’t bring it into my current theme.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could do?

  • To use any of the e-commerce plugins like these you need to geta way form wordpress.com and create your own self-hosted installation. That way you can install any themes and plugins that you want to.
